What We Do and Who We Are

Leading Edge Motorsports is a high performance kart shop with a simple philosophy to supply the highest quality products to our customers. With top quality products and an excellent team to back it up, we'll help you get your new package running fast. Leading Edge Motorsports offers many different services. Most kart shops cannot offer what we can, including: World Championship engine blueprinting and service work, chassis set up and tuning, Dyno Jet services, fabrication, driver development training, and World Championship race prep. Leading Edge Motorsports is the only full service non brand biased kart shop in Northern California.

The LEM Story  In 1995, Greg Bell searched for a better way to support his passion for racing and formed Leading Edge Motorsports Inc.(LEM), an official Trackmagic dealer.  The following year, Leading Edge Motorsports became a full-time endeavor for Greg Bell and focusing all his attention on his customers became a top priority.

After more than 15 years, Leading Edge Motorsports has developed into the top Intrepid dealers in North America and one of the most successful karting programs in the country, with customers and team drivers enjoying more successes on a national level than any other kart shop and/or factory supported effort.

Greg Bell gives special attention to his customers and team drivers, utilizing his vast knowledge of the products he carries.  Bell has helped guide young racers to the top of the Krting ranks...  Such drivers as 2000 ProMoto World Champion Bobby Wilson, multiple ProMoto Tour winner Trevor McAlister and 2001 ProMoto Tour runner-up Ron White, including young stars such as Brett Felkins -  have benefitted from the knowledge and experience that LEM provide.  Greg Bell's passion for racing can be seen in the success of each and every one of his customers.
